Some say, I over analyze. I say, I look for the hidden driving force whenever I hear a speech, see a play, or read a book. I have two driving forces: an aspiration to develop my knowledge, and a need to share it. My career path revealed and improved both: I did a PhD & Postdoc in Robotics, held positions as quantitative researcher at an investment manager, business analyst at a media company and AI/BI platforms strategy lead at a multinational. I taught at two universities, presented at science conferences, and am organising a monthly series of scientific cafés for researchers to share their findings with lay people. These experiences have been an invaluable training in storytelling, critical thinking, unravelling the relevant, discarding the fluff. Moreover, I am a long-time member of the public speaking club Toastmasters, represented Switzerland in the European Science Slam competition in 2017, performed improv on stage, and currently coaching TEDx speakers in Zurich for over 5 years. I’m thrilled today to share this know-how with a larger crowd; turning a bumpy first draft into a smooth version, unraveling its key message, what one really stands for and wishes to share.
